Effective May 22, 2025, our Semaglutide weight loss program is temporarily on hold due to recent FDA regulatory changes.
The FDA has determined that the national shortage of semaglutide injection products has been resolved and has discontinued authorization for compounded versions of semaglutide and tirzepatide medications. As a result, we are no longer able to offer compounded semaglutide through our weight loss program.

GLP-1 (Glucagon-Like Peptide-1) is a natural hormone that helps regulate blood sugar, appetite, and digestion. GLP-1 medications mimic this hormone to help manage Type 2 diabetes and support healthy weight loss by improving insulin response and helping you feel full longer.
When GLP-1 is released, it targets various receptors in the body to help stimulate insulin release, while also suppressing glucagon, slowing gastric emptying, and increasing the feeling of fullness. It works by reducing overall body fat and suppressing the appetite.
In clinical studies, patients showed an average weight loss or 35lbs or 15% of body weight when used in combination with diet and exercise.
Typically, it takes about two weeks for a GLP-1 to start working in the body. While taking a GLP-1, some people begin to see results within the first four weeks. However, a majority will see results within the initial 12-week period.
GLP-1s help to improve body composition by helping patients lose weight and reduce excess fat, including stubborn belly fat. It also increases the proportion of lean body mass. In general, the more weight you lose, the greater the improvements you’ll see in your overall body composition.
Some patients using injectable GLP-1s for weight loss may experience mild side effects, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, heartburn and burping. If there is excessive nausea while using GLP-1s, we will prescribe anti-nausea medication to help alleviate symptoms.
