Frequently Asked Questions
Testosterone Replacement Therapy is a medical treatment designed to restore testosterone levels in men who have clinically low testosterone. TRT may help improve symptoms such as fatigue, low libido, reduced muscle mass, mood changes, and decreased energy.
The most reliable way to determine if you have low testosterone is through a medical evaluation and laboratory testing. During your consultation, your provider will review your symptoms and order blood tests to evaluate your hormone levels.
Low testosterone may lead to symptoms such as:
• Fatigue or low energy
• Reduced libido
• Erectile dysfunction
• Increased body fat
• Loss of muscle mass
• Mood changes or irritability
• Difficulty concentrating
A comprehensive evaluation can help determine whether hormone imbalance may be contributing to these symptoms.
When prescribed and monitored by qualified medical professionals, testosterone therapy is generally safe and effective for men with medically confirmed low testosterone. Our providers carefully monitor hormone levels and overall health to ensure treatment remains appropriate and balanced.
Many patients begin noticing improvements in energy, mood, and overall well-being within several weeks of starting therapy. Improvements in muscle mass, body composition, and libido may continue to develop over several months.
Treatment plans vary depending on each patient’s individual health goals and hormone levels. Some men benefit from long-term therapy, while others may adjust treatment over time under medical supervision.
Balanced testosterone levels may help support metabolism, improve muscle mass, and reduce body fat when combined with healthy lifestyle habits such as proper nutrition and exercise.

A Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) is a formal document provided by our medical staff that outlines why a specific treatment is essential for your health. This is often required by HSA/FSA administrators to prove that the service is a Qualified Medical Expense.
While we do not bill insurance companies directly, we provide you with a Superbill. This document contains the necessary clinical coding (ICD-10 and CPT) that you can submit to your insurance provider or plan administrator for potential reimbursement or to justify the use of your health tax funds.
Not all services are guaranteed to be eligible. Eligibility depends on your clinical diagnosis and your specific plan’s rules. We recommend confirming eligibility with your plan administrator prior to your appointment.
